Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Lab Tech Professional, you will perform vital clinical laboratory procedures to detect, identify, measure, and report data crucial for disease diagnosis and treatment.

Every day, you will expertly conduct waived and moderate procedures using technical skills, instrumentation, and information systems, providing essential clinical laboratory support while ensuring the quality and accuracy of all tests under leadership direction.

To be successful in this role, you will possess comprehensive knowledge of laboratory principles across various disciplines (microbiology, hematology, chemistry, etc.), understand sample processing and result interpretation, prioritize chemical and biological safety, and be adept at operating and maintaining lab equipment. Coaches laboratory personnel to train for adherence to relevant policies and ethics Oversees most laboratory day-to-day operations and exercises authority over operational decisions Analyzes and interprets laboratory results in accordance with established laboratory work processes Administers laboratory inventories such as supplies, equipment and consumables Assists with selection of test methodology that is appropriate for the laboratory use of the test results Verification of the test procedures performed and establishment of the laboratory's test performance characteristics, including the precision and accuracy of each test and test system Job Requirements Required Bachelors Of Science in a chemical or biological science as defined by CLIA. and 2 years clinical lab experience in the designed lab area/speciality, upon hire Preferred International Medical Laboratory Scientist, upon hire or Blood Banking, upon hire or Chemistry
