Seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead largescale Java modernization and Spring Boot migration initiatives within enterprise banking environments The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise along with a solid technical background in Java frameworks application modernization microservices architecture and cloudnative development The role requires close collaboration with engineering teams architects business stakeholders and executive leadership to ensure successful delivery of migration programs Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of Java modernization and Spring Boot migration projects across multiple application portfolios Manage project scope timelines budgets resources risks dependencies and stakeholder communications Partner with solution architects and development teams to define migration strategies from legacy Java applications to Spring Boot and microservices architectures Drive project planning execution monitoring and governance for complex technology transformation initiatives Facilitate technical discussions and provide oversight on application architecture integration patterns APIs and deployment strategies Coordinate cross functional teams including developers' architects QA DevOps Infrastructure Security and business stakeholders Ensure adherence to SDLC Agile methodologies release management and enterprise architecture standards Track project milestones risk issues and dependencies providing regular status updates to senior leadership Support cloud migration initiatives and modernization efforts involving containerized deployments and CICD pipelines Review technical deliverables and ensure alignment with modernization objectives and business requirements Drive stakeholder engagement and manage expectations across onshore and offshore teams Implement best practices for application scalability performance resiliency and maintainability Leverage AI powered productivity and project management tools to improve delivery efficiency and reporting Mentor team members and foster a culture of collaboration accountability and continuous improvement Ensure successful transition to production and provide governance during postmigration stabilization Required Skills Technical Project Management Strong understanding of Core Java Spring Framework and Spring Boot Experience managing Java Monolith to Spring Boot Microservices Migration Projects Microservices Architecture REST APIs and Enterprise Integrations Agile Scrum Delivery JIRA Confluence MS Project SDLC Release Management Change Management Risk and Dependency Management Stakeholder Executive Communication CICD Jenkins GitHub Actions Azure DevOps Docker and Kubernetes AI Tooling Microsoft Copilot ChatGPT GitHub Copilot Jira AI Preferred Skills Banking and Financial Services Experience Application Modernization and Cloud Migration Programs AWS Azure or GCP Exposure PMP SAFe Scrum Master or Agile Certifications Experience leading globally distributed teams across US and offshore locations Knowledge of Payments Digital Banking or Core Banking platforms
