Job Description

We are looking for an entry-level Project Manager to help drive a long-term contract assignment supporting a major Workday implementation in Wisconsin. In this role, you will keep a complex, cross-functional project organized by coordinating timelines, meetings, decisions, and follow-up actions across multiple business and technical teams. This opportunity is ideal for an early-career project team member with experience in enterprise software delivery who is ready to take on broader ownership while partnering with senior leaders, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day coordination of project activities to keep deliverables, milestones, and priority tasks moving according to plan.
  • Maintain and update the master project schedule, including dependencies, key checkpoints, and critical activities across workstreams.
  • Organize status meetings, planning sessions, and decision reviews, ensuring each forum has a clear purpose and documented outcomes.
  • Record meeting summaries, assign follow-up actions, confirm ownership, and track open items through completion.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation such as status updates, dashboards, issue trackers, risk logs, and decision records.
  • Monitor project risks, assumptions, and interdependencies, and raise concerns with actionable recommendations when needed.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Security, change management teams, and implementation vendors to align timelines and expectations.
  • Support implementation phases including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, data conversion, integration, testing, training, deployment, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Coordinate test execution, defect tracking, readiness reviews, and deliverable validation to help ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Assist with change control activities by documenting requested changes and evaluating potential effects on scope, schedule, and resources.
