full-time Mobile Endpoint Engineer or Mobile System Administrator Contract Fremont, CA This role pays $70/hr on W2 Summary Seeking a highly technical Mobile Endpoint Engineer based in North America. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving complex problems, and is comfortable navigating ambiguity. The ideal candidate is motivated by work that extends beyond routine IT support and will play a key role in device lifecycle management, mobile security compliance, application deployment, hardware evaluation, and secure access to corporate resources across iOS and Android devices. This is a unique opportunity to support Client's broader IT Manufacturing organization and help solve the challenges of enabling production, R D, and test teams while maintaining a strong security posture. What You Will Do Administer and support a cloud-based Workspace ONE UEM environment. Configure and manage device enrollment processes, including DEP/ABM and Android Enterprise Zero-Touch Enrollment. Partner with business and technical teams to understand requirements and align solutions with internal standards. Support IT Manufacturing teams by troubleshooting enrollment, policy configuration, and application deployment issues. Troubleshoot mobile printers, ZCP, ThingFinder, and PrintApp. Implement and maintain device compliance policies, profiles, and security configurations in alignment with InfoSec guidelines. Support OS upgrades and device lifecycle management. Evaluate emerging technologies to improve tools, services, and end-user experience. Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers on new and end-of-life products. Collaborate with InfoSec, networking, and endpoint teams on mobile initiatives. Provide Tier 2/3 support and user training as needed.

What you will bring:

Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise mobile device management, with hands-on system administration experience. Experience supporting large enterprise environments with 5,000+ devices. Strong knowledge of iOS and Android operating systems. Experience troubleshooting both wired and wireless networks. Experience with certificate-based authentication, SSO, identity management, REST APIs, and Azure AD/Active Directory integrations. Understanding of mobile security best practices and compliance frameworks. Strong analytical, hardware, and software troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work onsite.
