What to Expect Consider before submitting an application: This position is expected to start around January 2027 and continue through the Winter/Spring term (ending approximately April/May 2027) or continuing into Summer 2027 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.

Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year. About the Team Tesla is accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy and autonomy. We are looking for a Mobile App intern to help build the next generation of our Service & Roadside Assistance experience, and extend it into the Robotaxi era. As a key contributor on the Tesla Mobile App team, you will develop and maintain critical cross-platform features that let owners and fleet operators schedule service, request roadside assistance, monitor real-time vehicle health, and interact with autonomous Robotaxi fleets, all from a single, high-performance mobile experience.

AutomatedDiagnostics Team:

Committed to building out the capabilities for quickly and accurately diagnosing vehicle issues remotely with limited customer interaction. Our team owns the entire customer experience, from the entry point in the Tesla App to the providing solutions for self-service through AI assisted interfaces or automating service appointments when a repair is necessary through remote diagnosis. What You'll Do

Design, code and maintain frontend and mobile user experiences end-to-end using React and React Native

Optimize code for performance, stability, and maintainability

Work with a cross-functional team of engineers, application/UI software engineers, QA/Validation, and designers What You'll Bring

Solid experience inMobile App Development(iOS and Android)

Expected Compensation

$50.12 - $56.13 + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
