Android EngineerLocation:

Remote Role OverviewWe are seeking a senior-level Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing and building e-commerce applications for the Android platform. This role involves ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications while collaborating with a team to define, design, and ship new features. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and build e-commerce applications for the Android platform.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.

Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.

Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.

Lead and mentor junior developers.

Required QualificationsExperience:

5+ years of experience in mobile application development, including a proven track record of designing and developing a complete Android app from top to bottom.

Technical Skills:

Android app development with Kotlin.

GraphQL and

REST API

integration.

Expert knowledge of Java, the JDK, and the Android SDK.Advanced Android UI Skills (Fragments, Custom view components).Experience writing multi-threaded and networked applications.

Expert level debugging and analysis skills using ADB.Experience with the application submission/provisioning process.

Expert knowledge of IntelliJ or Android Studio.

Web Services experience as it relates to mobile apps.

Experience with protocol buffers. Preferred QualificationsExperience with Android Play Store and

GQL/REST

API.Experience having worked with OpenGL or the NDK and high-performance graphics code.
