Job Description

Creative Marketing Designer - Santa Barbara (On-Site)
Department:
Marketing Employment Type:
Full Time Location:
Santa Barbara Compensation:
$25.00 - $42.00 / hour Description Silver Air is a boutique private aviation company based in Santa Barbara, managing and operating a growing fleet of ultra-luxury aircraft for a highly discerning global clientele. As we continue expanding our aircraft management portfolio and scaling our business development efforts nationwide, the visibility and quality of our brand has never been more critical. We are hiring a Creative Marketing Designer to take full ownership of how Silver Air is presented across every touchpoint — from aircraft acquisition materials and owner proposals to digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and client-facing collateral. This role sits directly alongside a rapidly growing commercial function, supporting new aircraft deals, Flight Club expansion, and ongoing brand elevation. This is not a support role and not a position for someone developing foundational skills. We are looking for a designer who already operates at a high level and can execute without hand-holding. Your work will directly support revenue-generating activity — business development materials, client presentations, and brand positioning in competitive deal environments. You will work directly with leadership and be expected to deliver high-quality work quickly, consistently, and with strong creative judgment. The pace is real. The visibility is high. The expectation is that your work is client-ready the first time. If your process relies on heavy iteration, extended timelines, or external validation to reach quality, this role will not be a fit. If you are decisive, fast, and confident in your creative standards, this is an opportunity to own and elevate a luxury brand operating in a high-growth, high-expectation environment. Key Responsibilities Brand Ownership & Visual Execution Own all visual output across the company: sales collateral, aircraft acquisition materials, proposals, presentations, and marketing assets Design and maintain a consistent, elevated brand standard across digital and print Ensure every asset reflects a luxury, high-trust experience aligned with our clientele Business Development & Revenue Support Design high-impact materials used in aircraft management deals, client proposals, and partnership presentations Support the growing business development team with fast, polished, client-ready deliverables Create materials that directly influence how the brand is perceived in competitive deal environments Website & Digital Presence Own visual updates and enhancements across the WordPress website Improve layout, imagery, and overall presentation to reflect a premium brand standard Ensure the website consistently reflects current offerings, aircraft, and positioning Creative Direction & Asset Development Translate high-level direction into clean, refined, and production-ready design Evolve existing materials and create new assets that elevate brand perception Maintain and enforce brand consistency across all outputs Speed, Execution & Responsiveness Deliver high-quality work on tight timelines without sacrificing standards Handle multiple concurrent requests while maintaining consistency and attention to detail Produce work that is client-ready with minimal iteration Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Required Experience 3-5 years of professional design experience in a brand, agency, or high-output creative environment Portfolio demonstrating ownership of work across digital and print, ideally within luxury, premium, or aspirational brands Technical Skills Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) Strong working knowledge of WordPress, including page updates, media management, and visual optimization Experience preparing and delivering assets for both digital and print production Solid understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy Capabilities Ability to translate direction into polished, client-ready design with minimal iteration Strong sense of visual judgment — understands what elevates a brand versus what diminishes it Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and speed Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and quick turnaround times Attributes High level of ownership and accountability for final output Strong attention to detail — nothing leaves your desk without meeting brand standards Clear communicator who can take direction, ask the right questions, and execute without friction Self-directed and decisive — able to move work forward without constant validation Benefits Silver Air is an incredible place to work, and we invest a significant amount of time and energy into creating and maintaining a world-class company culture. The specific benefits/perks we offer are continually evolving but currently include: Fully paid for Health Insurance coverage for you and your family Generous personal development and employee assistance programs 5% matching 401k/Roth Top-of-the-line equipment (Microsoft, Dell, Lenovo, etc.) Cell phone allowance Flexible leadership team Travel insurance Pet insurance Competitive salary Lucrative commission structure
