In partnership with the Creative Director, this role serves as the creative authority for all photography and videography, ensuring a consistent, compelling, and brand-aligned visual identity that showcases the unique character of each property. The position oversees the planning and execution of high-quality content productions, the development of visual standards, and the creation of a best-in-class content library that supports marketing, social media, web, public relations, sales, and advertising initiatives. Through innovative content creation and brand stewardship, this role drives engagement, strengthens brand perception, and inspires travelers. Responsibilities Visual Strategy & Creative Direction Maintain a cohesive visual direction for the portfolio, while honoring the individual creative identities of each property and brand Develop and maintain a portfolio-wide Visual Style Guide covering photography aesthetic, videography standards, editing and color treatment, talent direction, and post-production specifications Partner with the Creative Director, VP of Marketing and property marketing teams to align visual content with brand positioning, seasonal campaigns, and business objectives Production & Execution Plan, schedule, and lead content shoots
  • including hero lifestyle campaigns, food & beverage photography, architectural and interior shoots, spa and wellness content, and event coverage Serve as primary photographer and/or videographer on shoots, with the judgment and experience to know when to bring in specialized talent Source, brief, and manage contracted photographers, social media agency, videographers, drone operators, editors, and stylists as needed for each property and shoot type Manage pre-production logistics including shot lists, mood boards, talent coordination, prop and wardrobe sourcing, and property access scheduling Oversee all post-production: editing, color grading, retouching, file delivery, and archiving Content Library & Asset Management Build, organize, and continuously refresh a centralized, portfolio-wide content library that ensures every property has a current, on-brand bank of photography and video assets ready for use Establish naming conventions, tagging systems, and usage rights tracking so assets are accessible and compliant across teams Prioritize content shoots based on current gaps, upcoming campaign needs, and seasonal opportunities•proactively planning six to twelve months ahead Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate closely with property marketing teams, the social media agency, PR agency, and corporate marketing to ensure visual content is available, on-brand, and channel-ready Brief and supply assets to support paid media, website updates, editorial features, sales collateral, and investor presentations Partner with the Creative Services Manager to align on property-level content shoots and asset delivery Qualifications 5+ years of professional photography and/or videography experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates luxury, lifestyle, or hospitality work at a high level Demonstrated experience as a creative director or visual lead, not just a shooter•someone who sets the standard and elevates the work of others Expert-level proficiency in Figma and Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, and/or Final Cut Pro; strong command of post-production workflow Deep understanding of how visual content performs across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, websites, email and paid media•and the ability to produce platform-natively Experience managing content shoots end-to-end, including pre-production planning, on-set direction, and post-production delivery Ability and enthusiasm to travel regularly (estimated 30-50% of time) Experience working in luxury hospitality, boutique hotels, or a multi-property brand environmen Experience with digital asset management (DAM) platforms Strong network of freelance talent•photographers, videographers, stylists, editors•across key markets
