Job Summary Bloomsburie LLC is seeking an experienced Multimedia Designer to support a strategic communications program for a Department of Defense (DoD) organization in Falls Church, Virginia. The Multimedia Designer will create engaging visual and digital communications products across web, social media, print, briefing, and other communication platforms. This position requires a strong combination of graphic design, multimedia production, interactive design, branding, and digital communications experience. This is a full-time, on-site position in Falls Church, VA. This position is contingent upon contract award. Key Responsibilities Design graphics and multimedia products for digital and print communications. Develop interactive web and mobile interfaces using industry-standard design tools. Create and maintain visual branding across websites, social media, briefing materials, and other communication platforms. Develop graphics, layouts, and other visual products that reinforce organizational identity and messaging. Maintain and update website content and support monitoring of website analytics. Develop compelling, audience-focused content in collaboration with writers, photographers/videographers, and other communications professionals. Design educational and outreach materials, including newsletters, fact sheets, brochures, social media content, website updates, and other communications products. Support major communications initiatives and high-visibility events. Conduct brand reviews and help maintain consistency of messaging and visual identity across communication channels. Support collection and analysis of website, social media, and audience engagement metrics. Ensure multimedia products meet applicable industry and Government standards. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, or a related discipline. Minimum six (6) years of relevant professional experience. Demonstrated experience designing professional graphics and multimedia products. Experience building interactive web or mobile interfaces using industry-standard software. Deep expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro. Experience with 3D modeling and rendering , using tools such as Blender, Maya, or Cinema 4D . Familiarity with UX/UI design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD . Knowledge of applicable industry and Government standards. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, deadline-driven communications environment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supporting a Department of Defense or Federal Government organization . Experience supporting strategic communications, public affairs, or organizational communications. Experience developing content for Government or military audiences. Experience developing and maintaining organizational branding across multiple communications channels. Experience with website analytics and social media performance metrics. Experience supporting high-visibility communications campaigns, events, or outreach initiatives. Portfolio Required Applicants must provide a portfolio or link to work samples demonstrating relevant multimedia design experience, including examples of graphic design, digital content, interactive design, motion graphics, 3D modeling/rendering, or branding. Work Location and Eligibility This position requires full-time, on-site performance in Falls Church, Virginia . Candidates must be able to meet applicable Federal Government background investigation and access requirements.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
