Regional Network Specialist Position Title Regional Network Specialist Department Network Operations / Regional Management Reports to Regional Network Manager / Director of Network Operations Supervision Scope Regional DSPs, Franchisees, and Stations Compensation $24/hr Work Location Hayward,CA Travel Requirement High-frequency regional travel (station/carrier site visits) 1. Position Overview We are looking for a dedicated and operationally savvy Regional Network Specialist to support and execute the day-to-day management of our regional logistics network. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with DSPs (Delivery Service Providers) , franchisees , and line-haul trucking carriers to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant operations across your assigned territory. This role requires a strong blend of on-the-ground execution and analytical thinking. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills , a strong sense of ownership and self-motivation , and the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with overtime during peak periods and frequent business travel . 2. Key Responsibilities 2.1 DSP (Delivery Service Provider) Performance Management Support the daily operations and periodic (monthly/quarterly) KPI assessments of all DSPs within the region; assist in developing and tracking improvement action plans. Conduct on-site visits and performance reviews to ensure DSPs meet delivery timeframes and service quality standards. 2.2 Regional Station Operations Support Assist in the daily operational management of all stations in the region, covering staff scheduling, site 6S standards, equipment/material allocation, and abnormal shipment handling. Monitor station-level metrics (e.g., delivery success rate, damage rate, package backlogs) and report findings to management with actionable recommendations. 2.3 Full-Cycle Franchisee Support Support the entire franchisee lifecycle, including recruitment screening, contract documentation, daily coordination, and exit procedures. Act as the primary point of contact for franchisee inquiries; escalate and resolve operational, facility, or system issues in a timely manner. 2.4 DSP & Franchisee Resource Development Assist in identifying, vetting, and onboarding high-quality DSP carriers and franchisee partners to support regional business growth. Participate in commercial negotiations, due diligence, and new-partner onboarding training sessions. 2.5 Station & Franchisee SOP Compliance Inspection Conduct regular on-site audits and video monitoring reviews to ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) at stations and franchisee locations. Document compliance findings, identify gaps, and support corrective action implementation. 2.6 Feeder/Line-Haul Trucking Coordination Assist in planning and dispatching regional feeder/line-haul trucking capacity to optimize trunk-feeder connectivity and reduce per-unit transportation costs. Coordinate with contracted fleets and independent drivers, tracking on-road transit times, fuel consumption, and safety performance. 2.7 Headquarters Network Management Liaison Support the rollout of network policies, projects, and campaigns from headquarters; assist in local deployment, training, and execution tracking. Collect and consolidate regional performance data, competitive intelligence, and policy feedback for timely reporting to headquarters. 3. Qualifications 3.1 Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree or above in Logistics Management, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. [Insert number, e.g., 1-3+] years of experience in logistics/express/courier network operations or a related operational role. 3.2 Preferred Experience (Either or Both) Last Mile delivery industry experience , with familiarity with courier station operations or micro-fulfillment center models; Trucking / Line-Haul / Feeder transport experience , with knowledge of vehicle dispatch, cost tracking, or driver coordination. 3.3 Core Competencies & Personal Attributes Strong communication and interpersonal skills (Mandatory) : Able to effectively coordinate with internal teams, external partners, franchisees, and frontline staff; skilled at conflict resolution and relationship management. High sense of responsibility and self-motivation (Mandatory) : Takes ownership of assigned tasks and regional metrics; proactively identifies issues and drives solutions without constant supervision. Resilience and adaptability : Willingness to work overtime as needed (e.g., during peak sales campaigns, month-end volume surges); Willingness to travel frequently for on-site inspections and partner visits across cities and counties within the region. 3.4 Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for data reporting and PowerPoint for presentations); experience with logistics management systems is a plus.
