Validation Technician Rancho Cordova, California Onsite:
M-F 8am-5pm
Pay:
$30.00/hr W2 Benefits + paid time off Responsibilities Independently perform system integration — install, configure, and troubleshoot new systems without supervision Own creation and maintenance of CI/CD infrastructure supporting all tools, OS deployments, and lab automation Independently develop and maintain automation scripts/frameworks in collaboration with engineers (not merely editing under direction) Execute ambiguous, multi-component tasks with no direction — including significant development and debug work — partnering closely with engineering Independently triage complex, high-impact bugs across the test infrastructure and supporting lab environment Isolate root cause and deliver solutions for automation infrastructure issues Direct debug flow across ambiguous or cross-system failures, escalating only true unknowns Skills Executes end-to-end on ambiguous, loosely defined tasks without hesitation Proficient across all relevant debug areas; directs debug flow rather than just participating in it Follows test procedures and proactively suggests corrections/improvements globally, not just within own work area Sets up test equipment, gathers, and interprets failure data independently Requires minimal supervision on complex, multi-system tasks Proficient in full product validation lifecycle Results are trusted; reviews and validates others' work across multiple areas Takes initiative on next steps within (and where reasonable, beyond) the bounds of assigned tasks Strong Python and Linux Bash scripting ability Must Have Proficiency in CI/CD or pipeline technologies (Jenkins, GitLab) Proficiency across multiple OS platforms, including Windows Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage and prioritize multiple parallel tasks Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Teams, SharePoint) Proficiency with Confluence and JIRA Understanding of JSON schedule files, including creation of JSON files for automation Focus Areas Automation content creation and CI/code maintenance System integration Documentation of BKCs (Best Known Configurations) and BKMs (Best Known Methods) Product validation lifecycle support Failure analysis Lab and inventory support NVMe execution and automation Debug support for CPC/CPR execution and DoEs 10375013 Share this job Copied url To save a job sign in or get started To apply for this job email your details to I want more jobs like this in my inbox.
