Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Senior Network & Systems Security Analyst in Lutz, FL.
Schedule:
Onsite, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM; hours may vary based on workloadPosition Summary:
Senior Network & Systems Security Analyst to plan, design, implement, secure, and support network, server, and storage infrastructure. This role will troubleshoot infrastructure issues, maintain security controls, support disaster recovery efforts, and provide technical leadership for small projects. You may also serve as a project lead, mentor Level 1 analysts, cross-train peers, and provide technical direction to project team. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, implement, and support network, server, and storage infrastructure. Monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve server and network issues using the OSI model and other troubleshooting methods. Install and configure network/server hardware and software according to company security standards. Support Windows Servers, VMware, Cisco networking, SAN, firewalls, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, switching, and routing. Monitor systems and modify configurations to correct outages, errors, or performance issues. Provide second-level support for security systems and authentication mechanisms. Support IT security controls and cybersecurity best practices across operating systems, firewalls, and network devices. Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, maintenance, and documentation. Design and support small projects and provide technical leadership, consulting, and peer mentoring. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, MIS, or related IT discipline preferred. 6+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Servers, VMware, Cisco networking, SAN, and firewall support. An Associate degree + 4 years of related experience or Bachelor's degree + 3 years of related experience may be considered. Strong knowledge of switching, routing, DNS/DHCP, Active Directory, VMware, firewalls, hardware support, and cybersecurity best practices. Ability to troubleshoot complex network/server infrastructure and provide technical direction to project teams. Certification Requirements Must have at least one associate-level and one senior-level certification, such as:MCSA, MCSE, VCP, CCNA, CCNP, CEH, GIAC, or CISSP Preferred:
