Job Description

My team is partnered with a global leader in aerospace manufacturing that supplies aircraft manufacturers worldwide. This company is looking for a full-time Network Engineer to join their small, close-knit IT team 5 days onsite with on call rotation in Canton, GA. This role focuses primarily on Cisco networking, network segmentation, and infrastructure modernization within a highly technical, hands-on environment. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a complex, enterprise-level network in a critical industry. You'll be joining a small, collaborative team where your expertise directly impacts operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on role and enjoys solving network challenges. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of network infrastructure experience (Cisco routers, switches, and chassis) 3+ years of systems administration (Windows networking, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory) 3+ years of experience with Azure and Nutanix or similar virtualization platforms Experience with Fortinet firewalls, Aruba Wireless (Aruba Central), and data center server hardware Familiarity with network segmentation and compliance initiatives (DoD or CMMC preferred) Microsoft 365 administration experience
Preferred Certifications:
CCNA or CCNP, Microsoft MCSE What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown 90% Cisco networking, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure 10% Systems administration, on-call rotation (1 week every 4 weeks; 2-3 calls per week) Day-to-Day Responsibilities Operate and maintain Cisco-based network environments Lead network segmentation and compliance projects (CMMC readiness) Manage firewalls, VLANs, and routing configurations Oversee Nutanix virtual infrastructure and system backups Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshoot critical issues Collaborate with IT and operations to improve reliability and performance The Offer Bonus eligible (based on company performance) Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance PTO 401k matching Company-paid Life Insurance Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis now and in the future
