Seeking a Network Support Specialist . Starting wage listed is negotiable depending on experience. This position is full-time and is on-site based out of our Warsaw Indiana corporate headquarters. There is some occasional travel required, along with participation in an on-call rotation with other IT department staff. Eligible employees enjoy benefits such as: 100% Employee Owned Company (Employee Stock Ownership/Retirement Plan) and 401k with employer match Vacation and PTO Multiple Health and Supplemental Insurance Options Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental wellness Discount programs for phone service, travel, and other purchases Responsibilities (but not limited to) : Manage and maintain servers and their associated operating systems and software Perform system backups and recovery Troubleshoot and diagnose connectivity issues Manage and maintain all network appliances and network connectivity for all systems Maintain networking equipment firmware and software upgrades Monitor and test network performance and provide performance statistics and reports Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs Provide 2nd and 3rd tier end user technical support Remotely work with users to resolve local issues Document related IT information and support tickets Prioritizetasks and assignments Follow HIPAA guidelines and data privacy standards
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience supporting network infrastructure and security Strong knowledge of infrastructure protocols (DNS, AD, DHCP, SMTP, IP, etc.) Demonstrated expertise in wired and wireless network architecture and implementation Experience with Microsoft Server 2008 - 2019 and Windows 10 and 11 operating systems Advanced technical knowledge of security solutions, including firewalls and managed switches Proven experience with virtualization platforms (VMWare and/or Hyper-V) Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions (Veeam Backup software)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation Professional experience supporting Microsoft 365 enterprise environments Hands-on experience with Citrix Desktop/ADC infrastructure All applicant information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
