Network Analyst Lexington, KY Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Statistics Network troubleshooting Maintaining an organized workspace IT system monitoring Regulatory compliance High availability architecture Mid-level Bachelor's degree Computer hardware Decision making WAN Scalability Network performance optimization IT Network infrastructure management 2 years High availability System performance monitoring Full Job Description Overview The Network Analyst will be accountable for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing network performance to ensure high availability with minimum downtime. Responsibilities Monitor network performance and optimize as necessary. Analyze and resolve network issues and outages. Understanding of core network hardware. Understanding of the phone system and all of its components. Manage all wide area network components and transport layer circuits. Identify vulnerability and configuration issues. Provide timely network health reports; to include traffic analyzation of LAN and WAN traffic statistics. Provide active real time monitoring of the network and assure an emergency response in network failures to procure temporary restoral measures in the event of a network failure. Recommend improvements to support network scalability and availability. Provide and update records of all network hardware and associated circuits. Assure network redundancy and route diversity is functional and available for network failures and restoration. Ensure MDFs and IDFs have space for growth (room and rack), emergency power, UPS connectivity, wire management, and security. Ensure rooms are organized and uncluttered. Work with Operations as necessary. Timely closure of Summit tickets. Support upgrades and projects. Collaboration with all IT teams. Maintains confidentiality, integrity, and availability of ARH information. Complies with applicable internal and external policies, standards, laws, and regulations related to ARH information. Performs other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required or assigned. Qualifications Bachelors Degree or (1) relevant network certification 2+ years related IT experience 5 Years' experience Basic awareness of problem solving and decision-making skills Basic awareness of digital literacy skills Basic awareness of networking
