ISSO-TS/SCI FS
Poly for a Cloud and Technology company located in Morrisville, NC. The Sr.ISSO-TS/SCI FS
Poly will plan, manage, coordinate and provide support to various programs to ensure that the completion of all Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities per ICD 503, NISTs, CNSSI and other DoD and/or Intelligence Community policies. The Sr.ISSO-TS/SCI FS

Poly Include:
Serve as the Information System Security Officer (ISSO), partnering with the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to ensure compliance with Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and federal cybersecurity requirements across classified information systems. Lead and coordinate Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities throughout the system lifecycle in accordance with ICD 503, NIST, CNSSI, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and other applicable government security policies and directives. Collaborate with program managers and technical teams to define security requirements for new and existing information systems, ensuring security controls are incorporated into system design, implementation, and operational processes. Develop, maintain, and manage security documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), security assessments, authorization packages, compliance artifacts, and supporting records required for system accreditation and authorization. Monitor and evaluate technical security controls across Windows, Linux, Unix, cloud, and network environments to ensure ongoing compliance, identify vulnerabilities, and support remediation activities in accordance with established security standards. Maintain continuous monitoring (CONMON) activities for authorized systems by conducting security audits, vulnerability scans, compliance reviews, risk assessments, security briefings, and periodic updates to system security documentation. Serve as the primary security liaison with government security representatives, auditors, and stakeholders during authorization efforts, annual reviews, inspections, and compliance audits, ensuring all authorized systems remain compliant throughout their operational lifecycle. Qualifications of the Sr.ISSO-TS/SCI FS
Poly include: Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph and U.S. Citizenship required; ability to work onsite five days per week in Research Triangle Park (RTP) and travel periodically to other locations for 1-3 days as needed. Clearance originating from an Intelligence Community or Maryland-based customer environment is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or an additional five years of relevant technical experience in lieu of a degree, with a minimum of 5 years of experience serving as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO). In-depth knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 503, NIST SP 800-53, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and DoD cybersecurity requirements, including compliance with DoD 8140 Manual Intermediate Foundational Qualification standards. Strong experience implementing and maintaining DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), managing system accreditation activities, maintaining Systems of Record such as EMASS and ServiceNow (SNOW), and developing, tracking, and submitting Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms). Advanced knowledge of Windows, Unix, Linux, AWS, and enterprise system and network technologies, with the ability to assess security controls, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance across complex operational environments. Hands-on experience with cybersecurity and compliance monitoring tools including Tenable Security Center, HBSS, Splunk, and related security technologies used to support continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and audit readiness. Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, project management, and communication skills, including experience developing and presenting executive briefings, executing detailed implementation plans, working independently in customer-facing environments, and maintaining professional certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CASP, CCNA, or equivalent industry credentials.
