Job Description
Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Senior Automation Engineer - PowerShell / AWS Lambda / ServiceNow for their Raritan, NJ/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain advanced PowerShell-based automation solutions for enterprise orchestration and system integration, including scripting (PowerShell/Python) to optimize endpoint operations within ServiceNow.
Design and implement serverless, event-driven solutions using AWS Lambda or Azure Functions to enable scalable automation and real-time processing across enterprise platforms.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate PowerShell solutions with ServiceNow, using Git for version control and collaboration.
Write and optimize SQL queries for effective data management and reporting within ServiceNow and related databases.
Build and manage REST API-driven integrations to enable seamless interoperability between platforms
Document processes, scripts, and workflows for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven expertise as a PowerShell Developer
Proficient in using Git for source code management and version control.
Experience with serverless architecture and function-based development, such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
Experience with Rest API integrations
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Experience with ServiceNow development, including customization, scripting, and integration within the platform.
Experience with endpoint management platforms such as hink, SCCM or Intune.
Knowledge of additional scripting or programming languages is a plus
