Controls Systems Engineer Job Description Join our dynamic team involved in a critical AWS data center installation and commissioning project in Sterling, VA, with an expected completion timeframe of early to mid-October. We are seeking a skilled individual who can provide support in device configuration and commissioning, perform point-to-point testing, and offer expertise in EPMS systems and Ignition troubleshooting. This role emphasizes troubleshooting, applying overrides, gathering information, and assisting in the commissioning process rather than Ignition development. Responsibilities Support device configuration and commissioning processes. Conduct point-to-point testing to ensure system integrity. Provide expertise and troubleshooting for EPMS systems. Assist with Ignition troubleshooting and support. Gather relevant information and support the commissioning process effectively. Essential Skills Experience in PLC programming, programming, and electrical systems. Strong troubleshooting skills in both mechanical and electrical domains. Proficiency in control system operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Hands-on experience with device configuration and commissioning. Familiarity with point-to-point testing and EPMS systems. Competency in Ignition troubleshooting and support. Work Environment This position involves working on data center projects and may require overtime. The role is onsite, requiring adherence to safety protocols including PPE gear. Familiarity with OSHA 10 standards is expected. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reno, NV. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
