Job Summary
Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and analytical Network Planning Analyst to join our Route Planning team! Reporting to the Manager, Network Planning, you will play a key role in supporting the development of Scoot's network strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven individual to contribute to the airlines growth. You will assist the team by monitoring route performance, preparing analyses on flight schedules and capacity, tracking competitor activities, and contributing to studies on new route opportunities.
Responsibilities
Strategic Route Development:
Identify and evaluate new route opportunities, and determine optimal frequency and aircraft deployment on existing routes;
Scheduling Support:
Optimise flight schedules to maxmimise flight connectivity across the network, and assist in pre-season schedule alignment;
Stakeholder Management:
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to materilise network plans;
Charter Management:
Responsible for reviewing of charter requests, including following up on leads, and aligning resources with stakeholders;
Regulatory:
Prepare seasonal and ad-hoc applications for schedule/landing permits to local and foreign authorities as required for Scoot's full set of flight schedules
Requirements
General Degree, with relevant experience in aviation within a planning role preferred but not mandatory
Motivated and proactive individual who is eager to learn and contribute to team projects.
Comfortable working with ambiguity and without complete information
Data-driven individual, excellent communicator and strong team player
Strong analytical skills, with a keen interest in commercial aviation
Strong people skills to manage both internal and external stakeholders
Experience using Tableau, Power BI or other data visualisation tools is an advantage
Organized with ability to meet assigned task deadlines and contribute effectively to team projects
Preferable with exposure to data-analytics
