Share this job Description client is seeking an Ansible Automation Engineer to join their team in a contract-to-hire capacity. This individual will lead infrastructure automation initiatives across Linux and cloud environments, helping reduce manual operational work through scalable, repeatable automation solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible and Terraform
Build scalable automation frameworks for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployments
Automate processes across Linux (Red Hat/OpenShift), cloud, and infrastructure platforms
Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, and Engineering teams to identify and implement automation opportunities
Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation workflows, playbooks, and pipelines
Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation and automation standards
Support enterprise infrastructure modernization initiatives in a hybrid cloud environment Requirements Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Ansible (AAP, playbooks, roles, modules, automation workflows)
Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Linux administration experience, including:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux
OpenShift
Experience supporting cloud platforms:
Azure
AWS
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Scripting experience with:
YAML
Python
Experience supporting infrastructure automation, configuration management, and deployment automation
Strong documentation and written communication skills
Ability to work independently in a highly technical, non-customer-facing environment Bonus Skills Windows Server administration experience
