Job Description Provides first level, on-site and remote communications/network support including diagnosing, configuring and documenting assigned problems in highly available health care environment for assigned site(s). Responds to communication/network issues affecting health system applications. Job Responsibility 1.Performs first level diagnostic on-site and remote support for network and communication problems and responds to issues affecting health system applications. 2.Configures network and communications devices, including but not limited to routers, switches, loadbalancers, and communication servers. 3.Racks and stacks all communication equipment and performs testing and tracing of network cables. 4.Maintains accurate system documentation. 5.Works with service providers as it relates to all network and communication applications. 6.Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action. 7.Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions. Job Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
