Successful outcomes start and finish with eNGINE. Role Overview eNGINE is seeking a Network Architect to help shape the future of a large-scale financial services environment. This is a hands-on architecture role focused on the stability, security, performance, and scalability of enterprise network platforms. You'll work closely with an established technical team while remaining heavily involved in the architecture and engineering work yourself. The organization is also undertaking a multi-year transition from traditional data center infrastructure toward cloud-based platforms, making multi-cloud architecture, automation, security, and AI-enabled security capabilities particularly important. This is a strong opportunity for an architect who enjoys both solving complex technical problems and helping establish the standards and direction that guide an enterprise network environment. What You'll Do Design and architect secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise network platforms Spend significant time hands-on with network architecture, engineering, and technical solutions Partner with an established network team to execute architectural strategies and solve complex technical challenges Help define and maintain enterprise network and security standards Participate in architecture and technology governance committees Develop technical policies and architectural standards that support the organization's long-term strategy Evaluate existing platforms and identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security Help drive the organization's transition from traditional data center infrastructure to cloud-based environments Design and support solutions across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud Incorporate automation into network engineering, testing, validation, and operational processes Identify opportunities to use AI within security functions to improve threat detection, response, validation, and overall security effectiveness Evaluate new technologies and platforms to ensure they meet enterprise security and architectural requirements Help establish repeatable approaches for testing and validating network and security changes Collaborate across infrastructure, security, cloud, and other technology teams What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of experience in Network Architecture or a closely related architecture role Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise network solutions Experience developing and maintaining network architecture standards and policies Strong understanding of network security and enterprise security architecture Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms , including multiple major cloud providers Experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Oracle Cloud Experience supporting or leading data center-to-cloud transformation initiatives Strong understanding of network performance, scalability, availability, and resiliency Experience with network automation and infrastructure automation Experience with automated testing, validation, or other approaches to improving infrastructure quality Ability to work effectively with an existing technical team while remaining hands-on Strong communication skills and the ability to present technical recommendations to technical and governance committees Preferred Experience Experience integrating AI capabilities into cybersecurity or network security functions Multi-cloud architecture experience across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud Experience within financial services or other highly regulated environments Experience establishing enterprise network and security standards Experience modernizing traditional data center environments for cloud adoption Experience with infrastructure-as-code, automated testing, or automated validation Experience leading architecture initiatives involving security, automation, and cloud transformation What Will Make You Successful The ideal candidate is an architect who can move comfortably between hands-on technical work and enterprise-level architecture . You'll need to be comfortable getting into the details while also thinking strategically about how network, security, automation, cloud, and emerging AI capabilities fit together. $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
