JOB DESCRIPTION
Monitors, controls, and isolates problems in a data communications network. Monitors all network activity. Activates/deactivates network lines according to established schedules. Performs first- and/or second-level problem determination (first level is help desk). Interfaces with users and/or network vendors. Responsible providing technical support for LAN/WAN or for a section of a larger network. May perform installation, modification and testing of network. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee).

LIASON:
Contacts are typically with individuals within own department and occasionally with contacts outside own organization. Contacts involved obtaining or providing information or data requiring some explanation or interpretation. Qualifications Associates Degree and 4 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelors and 2 years of relevant experience Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust requiring U.S. Citizenship or Green Card. Technical skills and experience related to cloud networking Effective interpersonal skills, and strong briefing and writing skills Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and team environment with little supervision
Hands On Experience:
ServiceNow, SCOM, Solarwinds, Zscaler support,
Azure Network Certification:
Current Network and ITIL 4 certifications Experience with a Federal or Government Agency
