Network Architect

Job Description The Network Architect I is an early-career architecture role responsible for supporting the design, documentation, and implementation of enterprise network solutions under the direction of a Senior Network Architect. This role contributes to network modernization initiatives across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments, assisting with solution design, standards documentation, and technology evaluation while developing architectural expertise. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 4-6 years of enterprise network engineering experience. Strong understanding of routing, switching, and networking fundamentals. CCIE Required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Exposure to SD-WAN, cloud networking (Azure/AWS), and data center networking. Experience with Cisco enterprise platforms. Exposure to Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass.

Responsibilities Architecture & Design Support Assist in developing network architecture designs across campus, data center, WAN, and cloud environments. Contribute to reference architectures, standards, and design documentation. Support architecture reviews led by senior architects. Engineering & Project Support Collaborate with engineering teams during implementation and delivery phases. Assist with solution designs for network refresh, cloud connectivity, and NAC initiatives. Contribute to low-level designs under architectural guidance. Security & Reliability Support secure and resilient network designs including segmentation and access control. Assist with Network Access Control solutions including Cisco ISE and Aruba ClearPass.
