Are you the go-to IT problem solver who thrives on owning the fix and being the trusted face of technology for the people you support? Our client, a fast-growing managed IT provider, is looking for a Support Desk Engineer to serve as the dedicated onsite Tier II resource for one of its biggest clients in the Irving/Dallas area. This is an opportunity to step into a brand-new role where your expertise directly keeps a major organization's operations running smoothly every day.

Clear advancement paths into Tier 3 and specialized engineering roles Compensation $70,000-$80,000, depending on experience What You'll Be Doing Serve as the dedicated onsite Tier 2 engineer for a major client

Resolve escalated desktop and remote support issues

Handle imaging, light networking, and systems troubleshooting

Travel between client locations across the local market as needed

Own tickets from intake through resolution in ConnectWise PSA

Document solutions and strengthen the knowledge base

Collaborate with Tier 3 engineers and technical account managers What You'll Need to be Considered True Tier 2 skills across desktop, imaging, light networking, and systems

Ability to operate independently in a client-facing role without constant oversight

A polished, professional presence with excellent communication skills

A proactive, ownership-driven approach that stays calm under heavy volume

Reliable transportation and the ability to pass an MVR

MSP experience is highly desirable

CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications

Experience supporting healthcare or regulated environments

Familiarity with ConnectWise PSA or similar ticketing system INDIT
