Responsibilities of the
Storage Engineer Includes:
Manage enterprise data storage infrastructure to ensure system reliability, scalability, and optimal performance Partner with infrastructure and security teams to support data protection initiatives and storage architecture improvements Investigate and resolve infrastructure issues impacting storage availability, recovery operations, or application performance Support lifecycle management activities, including platform enhancements, capacity planning, upgrades, and maintenance efforts Identify opportunities to streamline operations through automation and proactive monitoring practices Qualifications of the
Storage Engineer Includes:
5+ years of experience supporting enterprise-level storage environments and technologies, such as SAN and/or NAS platforms Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Experience with replication, snapshots, storage performance tuning, RAID configuration, storage provisioning, LUN/volume management Experience supporting Linux and/or Windows servers with attached storage Working knowledge of enterprise backup and recovery technologies and concepts Ability to proactively monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot performance concerns, and implement corrective actions across storage and server platforms Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government TS/SCI Clearance Compensation of the Storage Engineer includes: Salary range: $130,000 - 140,000 (based on experience)
