Job Description

Tacala is currently looking for a qualified and self-motivated HVAC Equipment Service Technician to join our growing team. This position will service areas around greater Enterprise and Dothan, AL.

At Tacala, we take great pride in serving both our employees and customers. Our HVAC Equipment Service Technician provides year-round preventative maintenance and repair of kitchen and lobby equipment in our restaurants. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently with employees, customers and vendors and communicate effectively both verbally and in a written manor.
JOB SKILLS EXPERIENCE
3•5 years of combined education and or real-world experience with HVAC & Equipment repairs
EDUCATION
Technical school graduate or degree, or equivalent work experience
SKILLS:
Comfort and knowledge of servicing equipment such as•refrigeration systems (walk-in coolers and freezers), restaurant capacity fryers, warmers, and ice machines, and minor plumbing, electrical, and
HVAC/R ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
(not an all-inclusive list): HVAC/R service and repair Comfort and knowledge of using a digital multimeter to diagnose control issues, while working on HVAC and other equipment The ability to attach HVAC gauges to an active system for testing, charging and evacuating of a refrigerant charge Kitchen cooking equipment and ice machines preventative maintenance and repair Electrical troubleshooting Use of internal tracking software
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must have three (3) years of experience with HVAC/R, restaurant kitchen equipment, and commercial ice machines Must have the willingness to travel from location to location•company vehicle provided Must be able to pass a background check and MVR for use of company vehicle Must be willing to work 40-50 hours a week
