Responsibilities Participate in the development of business requirements. Support the production Guidewire Policy & Billing applications. Participate in testing tasks. Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor working with teammates and those outside the department Maintain a working knowledge of all policy forms, endorsements, exclusions, and underwriting rules and procedures for all lines of business within the policy administration system. Maintain a professional and courteous working relationship with the underwriting department, agency force, and home office personnel. Maintains an acceptable attendance record as outlined in the P & C Underwriting Attendance Policy Qualifications College Degree Required. 2 years Insurance experience specifically in underwriting, billing or claims departments. INS Designation is an advantage. International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification is an advantage. Business Process Management Certifications are an advantage. Aptitude for providing technical solutions. Training/certification in Agile & Waterfall development methodologies is preferred. Strong background in verbal and written communications. Ability to perform in fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment. Guidewire software experience preferred.
