This full-time, categorically funded, twelve (12) months per year, on-site and in-person Systems Administrator position designs, deploys, secures, integrates, tests, monitors and manages the District's physical and virtual server infrastructure and operations that support the District's enterprise-wide network and telecommunication infrastructure; performs day-to-day systems administration tasks and works closely with Network Administrators and the Web Systems Administrator to ensure optimal system speed, security, performance and reliability; and performs related duties as assigned. This role covers technologies such as virtual server hypervisors, cloud-hosted platforms, identity management, and a variety of security solutions that keep our environment running smoothly and safely. You don't need to be an expert on day one. While experience with server administration, virtualization, and cybersecurity are a strong plus, they are not required.
