Competitive and based on experience About Us We are a growing mortgage lender seeking a talented and innovative IT Systems Developer & Administrator to oversee, develop, and enhance our technology infrastructure. This position will play a critical role in supporting our lending operations through system development, process automation, platform integrations, and emerging technology solutions. The ideal candidate is not simply an IT support professional but a technology builder who can identify inefficiencies, develop solutions, and help modernize our mortgage lending operations.
Position Summary:
The IT Systems Developer & Administrator will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving technology systems across the organization. This includes loan origination platforms, CRM systems, workflow automation, reporting tools, data integrations, and AI-driven technologies. The successful candidate will work closely with executive management, operations, underwriting, processing, compliance, and sales teams to build scalable solutions that improve efficiency and support company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain internal technology systems and business applications. Manage and optimize mortgage lending platforms and supporting software. Create and maintain system integrations between third-party vendors and internal platforms. Design and implement workflow automation to improve operational efficiency. Build custom reports, dashboards, and data management tools. Evaluate, test, and implement emerging technologies, including AI and automation solutions. Administer user accounts, permissions, security settings, and access controls. Monitor system performance and recommend technology improvements. Troubleshoot technical issues related to software, databases, and business applications. Collaborate with department leaders to identify and implement technology solutions. Ensure technology systems support compliance and regulatory requirements. Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures. Provide technical support and training to employees as needed.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in systems development, IT administration, software development, or technology management. Strong understanding of business systems architecture and workflow automation. Experience with databases, reporting tools, and system integrations. Knowledge of cloud-based applications and software administration. Experience managing multiple technology projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Mortgage banking or financial services industry experience strongly preferred. Experience with mortgage loan origination systems (LOS), CRMs, and lending technology platforms. Proficiency in SQL, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar programming languages. Experience with APIs, data integrations, and automation platforms. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Administration, Azure, AWS, or cloud infrastructure. Experience implementing AI tools, chatbots, or machine learning solutions. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection standards.
