Carson, Colorado . In this role, you will provide military units with a high-fidelity simulation training environment utilizing government-provided hardware and software configured to fulfill the needs of simulation control plans. You will collaborate closely with team members to install, configure, and operate the operating systems, security protocols, and simulation software necessary to execute critical training missions.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation, configuration, and operation of Linux and Windows operating systems, security patches, and simulation software. Troubleshoot and resolve technical, hardware, and network issues within the simulation environment. Design, build, and maintain simulation databases to support diverse, unit-specific training exercises. Ensure database integrity, performance, and alignment with simulation control plans. Leverage a strong understanding of TCP/IP networks and protocols to configure simulation environments. Provide units with stimulation to C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence) systems from a simulation training environment to produce a cohesive Common Operating Picture (COP) . Assist unit and field support representatives in integrating simulation architectures into C4I networks. Apply expert knowledge of Army logistics (e.g., supply, maintenance, transportation, and sustainment operations) to align simulation scenarios with real-world tactical operations. Bridge the gap between technical simulation databases and tactical Army logistics systems to maximize training realism.
Requirements:
Education:
Minimum BA or BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Experience Substitution:
Three (3) additional years of direct experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of computer experience in information systems design, database management, and system administration.
Domain Expertise:
Demonstrated experience with planning and executing logistical operations, specifically within an Army/DoW environment .
Technical Skills:
Strong troubleshooting experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems and hands-on exposure to database construction.
Certification:
Must possess an active IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent) or be able to obtain one within six months of hire date.
Security & Citizenship:
Must be a U.S. Citizen holding an active SECRET security clearance.
