Company Overview Full Spectrum Operations, a joint venture between By Light Professional IT Services and American Communications Solutions is hiring talented IT professionals for the Eastern Western Operational Communications Services (EWOCS) contract at Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA. The Eastern and Western Ranges provide capabilities for customers to safely launch, track and recover spacelift systems as well as perform operational test missions in support of ballistic missile deployment and aircraft flight tests. EWOCS provides communication systems maintenance, operations, and support services for voice, video, data and infrastructure yielding a robust communications capability for a wide range of customers in a dynamic launch environment. We're looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team! Responsibilities Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers. Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency. Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts. Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products. Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery. Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff. Required Experience/Qualifications 5-7 years' experience and a BA/BS degree or equivalent Experienced with frequent use and application of technical standards, principles and theories. Works under general supervision, providing solutions to technical problems of moderate scope/complexity. Special Requirements/Security Clearance DoD Active Secret Clearance
