Job Description

Job Description Lead the migration of data assets and workloads from a shared Snowflake environment to a new dedicated Snowflake platform while ensuring performance, security, and scalability. Design, develop, and support data pipelines using Informatica IDMC/IICS, DBT, Python, and AWS services including S3, Glue, Lambda, and DMS. Partner with engineering teams, architects, and leadership to provide project updates, troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and support ongoing platform maintenance. Act as a technical leader by mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, driving best practices, and evaluating new capabilities such as Snowflake Cortex AI and Openflow integrations.   • 8-10+ years in Informatica/Data Engineering (real senior person and/or tech lead kinda)
  • Strong Snowflake Admin// has to be SnowPro certified (would love a Snowpro cert)
  • Strong
UNIX/LINUX
admin and shell scripting skills
  • Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool)
  • Experience in ETL tool Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC)/ IICS ? NEED
  • Informatica Experience (need good experience with) ? NEED
  • Programming In Python
  • Experience in AWS services like DMS, S3, Glue, Lambda
  • Culture fits // very nice and work hard and trains Jr/Midlevel folks and deals with management updates daily
  • Migrating from existing shared snowflake environment to new one Handling future maintenance of this as well
  • Knowledge and ability to work with Cortex AI
  • How to integrate with AWS for network capabilities
  • Setting up connectivity to Openflow (would be big Plus if they have - its new)
