We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Systems/Infrastructure Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys visiting customer sites throughout the tri-county area in South Florida and is comfortable being the go-to expert for server, network, and cloud infrastructure once on site. We are looking for a technician with advanced server and infrastructure knowledge who can take ownership of the environments we manage for our clients, from the server room to the cloud. at an advanced level Virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V — host management, VM provisioning, and performance troubleshooting Backup and disaster recovery solutions — configuration, monitoring, and recovery testing Storage and SAN/NAS fundamentals Networking Business-grade firewalls (SonicWall, WatchGuard, Fortinet, Ubiquiti/Unify, etc.) — configuration and troubleshooting, not just monitoring Advanced routing and switching, VLAN design, and GUI/CLI-managed switches and access points Managed WiFi VPN and SD-WAN configuration and troubleshooting Structured cabling and network closet organization/cleanup Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure Microsoft 365 and Azure AD/Entra ID administration — users, groups, conditional access, and hybrid identity/sync Intune and endpoint management/policy deployment Exchange Online and Azure infrastructure basics (VMs, networking, storage) Comfortable working across hybrid environments that span on-prem servers and cloud services End User & General Support Hardware/peripheral and endpoint network troubleshooting Basic office/admin software support (Microsoft 365 apps, Windows 10/11, Adobe, etc.) Antivirus/antimalware remediation and contaminated machine cleanup This position will require travel from client to client throughout most days as well as work from our office, and candidates will be largely autonomous in daily tasks — able to walk into a server room or network closet and diagnose issues independently. A working and reliable car is required; gas is paid through the company. Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, MCSE, VCP, Azure Administrator (AZ-104), or Security+ are welcome but not required. Previous MSP experience and hands-on server/network infrastructure experience are strongly preferred.
