This position is primarily responsible for creating and maintaining the accounting structure configuration within the Oracle ERP system and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial data. The role also oversees workflow queues, reviews system requests, monitors statuses, and ensures timely routing and resolution of financial transactions across departments. The individual participates in the review of various Financial Management software; designs and recommends essential forms, schedules, and reports necessary in financial procedures; prepares required special reports and maintains a close link between the accounting records and budgets. The incumbent is required to operate independently and develop data necessary for sound decision making and financial reporting. This position reports to the Financial Accounting Director and is an exempt position. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Public Administration, Business Administration, Information Systems or similarly related fields is required. Master's Degree is highly preferred. A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with ERP or financial management systems is required. Knowledge of Lawson/Infor, Oracle, or other accounting/budget systems applications is required. Strong understanding of financial coding, chart‑of‑accounts structures, and internal control principles. Possession of a valid Driver's License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
