Mac Device Administrator Norcross GA, Onsite Video Interview 6 months contract Descriptions The Mac Device Administrator is responsible for managing, securing, and supporting Apple macOS and Windows devices across the organization. This role ensures reliable device performance, security compliance, and a high-quality end-user experience. Key Responsibilities Manage and administer macOS and Windows devices using MDM solutions (e.g., Intune, Jamf Pro, Kandji). Deploy, configure, patch, and maintain macOS and Windows systems and applications. Enforce security policies including FileVault, malware protection, and OS compliance. Provide Tier 2/3 support for Mac and Windows related hardware and software issues. Automate device management workflows using scripts and profiles. Maintain device inventory, licensing, and asset lifecycle management. Collaborate with IT security and service desk teams. Document standards, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Provide hands-on desktop, laptop, and peripheral support for Windows and macOS. Troubleshoot hardware failures, OS issues, application errors, and user accounts. Perform workstation imaging, setup, and deployment for new hires and replacements. Support printers, scanners, AV equipment, and other office peripherals. Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of experience administering macOS and Windows in an enterprise environment. Strong knowledge of macOS architecture, security, and troubleshooting. Experience with Apple Business Manager and MDM platforms. Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash or Zsh). Understanding networking fundamentals and identity management. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications Jamf or Apple certifications (Jamf 200/300/400, Apple Certified IT Professional). Experience integrating macOS with Azure Entra, SailPoint, or other IdPs. Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, NIST, PCI
DSS, ISO 27001
). Experience supporting mixed OS environments. Skills Automated Release Management, Master Data Management (MDM), Firewall Administration - Security Management (IT IS)
