Our law firm provides services in a variety of areas including business administration, mergers and acquisitions, creditor rights, estate and succession planning, probate and trust administration, real estate, litigation, family law, and tax matters. We are committed to delivering personalized legal solutions to the communities we serve.Position Overview:
Laird Law Firm is seeking an experienced IT systems administrator to manage the firm's day-to-day technology needs across three offices. This position combines responsive end-user support with responsibility for Microsoft 365, endpoint and network administration, cybersecurity coordination, technology vendors, and major IT projects. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, solve complex problems, and make practical technology recommendations to firm leadership.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the firm's primary internal IT resource and point of contact for attorneys and staff across all offices
- Configure, secure, maintain, and replace firm computers, mobile devices, and other endpoints
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, connectivity, user access, and performance issues
- Administer Microsoft 365, user accounts, endpoint policies, software installations, updates, and licensing
- Evaluate and manage technology vendors and advise firm leadership on phone, cybersecurity, cloud, and other IT services
- Administer and support the firm's legal and business applications and coordinate upgrades, integrations, and vendor escalations
- Handle printer, copier, and related office technology support, including vendor coordination
- Maintain IT documentation, inventory, and technology lifecycle tracking
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding technology needs for new and departing employees
- Coordinate network, backup, and cybersecurity operations with external providers and assist with technology outages and security incidents
- Plan and manage technology implementations, migrations, and major equipment replacements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- At least four years of progressively responsible experience in IT support or systems administration; experience supporting a multi-office professional-services organization is preferred
- Strong administrative knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft 365, including Entra ID and Intune
- Working knowledge of endpoint management, networks, firewalls, wireless systems, backups, and cybersecurity practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage competing support requests and technology projects
- Experience supporting legal technology systems is a plus
- Experience evaluating technology vendors and managing IT projects
Job Type:
Full-time Salary:
$75,000 - $90,000Benefits:
