Immediately Job Description 1. Provides a second tier of support for all problems and technology requests escalated by Technology Department staff. 2. Manage and complete ticket requests as submitted by students and staff, or assigned by Technology Department administration. Tickets may include deploying devices; configuring devices, software, and services; troubleshooting hardware or software problems; configuration changes to Windows Server; configuration changes to iOS and Chrome OS management solutions and services; answering user questions or other tasks as assigned. 3. Properly escalates tickets that fall outside the technician's scope of responsibility, or ability to complete. Escalation may involve gathering and forwarding relevant information to the correct technology department personnel, or a different department if need be. 4. Maintain a knowledge of Windows Server features, Google Admin Console, Apple Schools, and other district technology services as they become applicable. Knowledge pertains to making configuration changes, troubleshooting problems, and performing maintenance tasks as assigned. 5. Shares responsibility for accomplishing the goals, priorities, and projects of the Technology Department as required. 6. Other duties, as assigned.
