Application, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity Support (AICS) program AICS enables secure, reliable, and data-driven operations across the DOE enterprise through application modernization, DevSecOps, Zero Trust implementation, continuous monitoring, and infrastructure sustainment supporting EHSS's environment, health, safety, security, and classification missions. Responsibilities Configure, administer, monitor, maintain, patch, upgrade, and secure classified network devices, servers, systems, applications, terminals, and peripherals. Review, analyze, and modify programming and operational systems, including coding, testing, debugging, installation, and issue correction. Consult users to understand operating procedures, clarify objectives, resolve access/performance issues, and provide technical assistance. Support databases, client-server, UNIX/Linux, Microsoft, cloud, virtualization, firewalls, encryption, and thin-client environments. Execute tests, support vulnerability scanning, remediate findings, and maintain configuration baselines and records. Review logs and support patches, antivirus, firmware, licensing, backups, accounts, incident restoration, and technical documentation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar field. 6 years of experience can be substituted for the bachelor's degree (included as part of the experience requirement, not additional). Must have an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Q clearance Minimum 2 years reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging, and installation. Experience consulting users to identify operating procedures and objectives. Ability to write development, logic, coding, correction, installation, and operating documentation. Familiarity with relational databases, client-server, UNIX/Linux, Microsoft, and cloud; classified networks and
