Weelborg Auto , which is comprised of Weelborg Chevrolet of Glencoe, Weelborg Chevrolet of New Ulm, and Weelborg Ford in Redwood Falls is seeking a dependable Information Systems Technician, who is interested in growth in this three-store opportunity.
JOB SUMMARY
The Information Systems Technician is responsible for planning, installing, maintaining, and safeguarding internal communications, information systems, and related equipment. This role is in-person and serves our three Minnesota automotive dealerships.
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform help desk functions, performing technical support and troubleshooting for users. This includes answering questions, responding to requests, and providing technical support while managing an internal ticket system. Establish, monitor, and maintain network environments, directories, and security. Oversee administration and updates of dealership websites. Collaborates with the accounting department to maintain software and hardware budgets. Research, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade operating systems. Manage procurement and inventory of technology equipment, software, and related services. Ensure technology equipment (e.g., network switches, servers, computers, mobile devices) is updated and performing as required. Authorize permissions and access to technology applications or services. Ensure business applications and systems are functioning properly and accessible to users. Lead and manage projects, developing and implementing project plans within budget. Develop and maintain department documentation, policies, and procedures. Oversee and implement information security programs.
Required Competencies:
Proficiency in Windows, MS Office Suite, CRM, MS Technologies, and MS SQL Server Management. Strong organizational, time management, and professional communication skills. High level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information. Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Education /
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience. 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience preferred. Experience with ERP systems required; Tekion and Pensoft a plus.
Physical and Mental Demands:
General office environment with occasional exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels. Frequent verbal and written communication required. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Working Environment:
Professional office environment with low noise levels. Rare exposure to outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.
SCHEDULE
Monday through
Friday Location:
Redwood Falls, MN; will travel to New Ulm and Glencoe, MN as needed.
