Server & Cloud Systems Administrator
Job Description
This full-time position is located within Central Technology Services and works from our Jefferson City location. The Azure / Microsoft 365 Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, administration, security, and ongoing support of the bank's Microsoft cloud and hybrid infrastructure and plays a key role in ongoing cloud migration and modernization initiatives. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administration, monitoring, configuration, permissions management, and service health oversight across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Power Platform, Fabric, GitHub, and on-premises Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and ADFS. Design, deploy, maintain, patch, and update Azure and hybrid infrastructure supporting virtual machines, networking, storage, connectivity, identity synchronization, and related platform configuration changes. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate provisioning, administration, reporting, and routine maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot incidents and provide Tier II/Tier III escalation support while monitoring system health, performance, capacity, availability, and uptime. Support enterprise migration, modernization, and cloud-hosted application initiatives, including on-premises file and print migrations to SharePoint Online, workload movement to Azure, Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Fabric, and related business applications. Ensure systems meet internal security standards, regulatory requirements, and operational best practices; support audit and examination requests as needed. Document configurations, procedures, and support processes; collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, business, and project teams on operational consistency and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Requirements 5+ years in a Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator, Cloud Engineer, or similar role. On-premises domain administrator experience supporting Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, ADFS, SCOM, and Windows Server operating systems. Microsoft 365 Global Administrator experience managing Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, Fabric, app registrations, SSO, tenant permissions, security, compliance, and access controls. Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, identity synchronization, authentication, conditional access, MFA, and access management. Proficiency with PowerShell for administration, reporting, and automation of repetitive tasks. Experience administering and supporting Microsoft SQL Server, including installation, maintenance, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring. Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Administrator, Identity and Access Administrator, or similar) preferred. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and a continuous improvement mindset.Benefits
