Job Description

Functioning within the Health System's mission, vision, values, objectives, policies and procedures, the Systems Administrator role is to support the stable operation of the Health System's PC, storage and server environment. This includes supporting, maintaining, configuring and providing assistance in mid-level storage tasks, server tasks, and software. This position is responsible for diagnosing, resolving, and documenting hardware and software infrastructure problems in a timely and accurate fashion. This position is also responsible for training the end user during the project implementation phase. The Systems Administrator will implement new projects with the approval of the Sr. Systems Administrator and IT Operations Manager.
Education:
Associate degree in computer science or applicable experience in the field required.
Licensure/Certification :
MCSA:
Windows Server 2016 is required or must be obtained within 1 year of hire date. Must be a Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization or must be obtained within 2 years of hire date.
Experience:
Previous experience installing and supporting PC hardware and software required. Strong conceptual knowledge of basic networking concepts and terminology. Previous experience with supporting Microsoft Windows, Active Directory and Exchange mailboxes. Basic experience with network equipment (i.e. hubs, routers, switches, file server, print servers) required. Previous experience with network inventory, imaging and remote control required. Previous basic experience with SharePoint preferred
