Systems & ERP Administrator IT Infrastructure

• Systems Administration Opportunity Summary A hands-on IT role combining network and server administration with the opportunity to learn and ultimately take ownership of our Epicor/CMS ERP environment. Training and knowledge transfer will be provided. Position Overview Parker Trutec is seeking an IT professional with a solid infrastructure foundation and a strong desire to learn business systems. This position will support the company's IT infrastructure while developing the knowledge required to administer and support the Epicor/CMS ERP system. The successful candidate will also take ownership of selected network, server, and infrastructure projects from planning through implementation. ERP / Business Systems Responsibilities Learn the administration and support of the company's Epicor/CMS ERP environment through a structured training and handoff period. Provide ERP user support, troubleshooting, user administration, and general system maintenance. Develop an understanding of ERP configuration, reporting/data access, and the relationship between the system and manufacturing/business processes. Gradually become capable of independently supporting and administering the ERP environment. Assist with ERP-related improvements, projects, integrations, and process changes as needed. Network & Server Responsibilities Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments and core Microsoft infrastructure. Support Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows domain services. Support network infrastructure including TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, routing, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless networking. Work with virtual server environments and related infrastructure. Troubleshoot server and network issues independently and coordinate with outside support partners when appropriate. Take ownership of one or more infrastructure projects, including planning, implementation, documentation, and follow-through. Experience & Skills Previous hands-on experience with network and/or Windows server administration. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and Windows-based business environments. Experience with ERP systems, business applications, databases, or manufacturing systems is preferred. Epicor/CMS experience is a significant plus, but is not required. Microsoft 365 / Entra ID experience is beneficial. Experience with virtualization technologies is beneficial. Ability to troubleshoot methodically, document solutions, and work independently on technical projects. What We Are Looking For Strong desire and ability to learn unfamiliar systems and technologies. Interest in developing deep knowledge of the company's ERP system and potentially becoming its primary administrator. Ability to understand both technical systems and the business processes they support. Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of projects and problems. Effective communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical users. Training & Growth Candidates are not expected to arrive as Epicor/CMS experts. Training and knowledge transfer will be provided. We are looking for someone with the technical foundation, curiosity, and initiative to learn the environment and grow into greater responsibility over time.
