Job Type Full-time Description Since 1948 Follett Products, LLC has led the industry in designing and manufacturing high-quality, innovative ice storage bins, ice storage and transport systems, ice machines, ice and water dispensers, ice and beverage dispensers, and medical-grade refrigerators and freezers for the food service and healthcare industries. Follett has an opportunity for a Systems Specialist to join our Team in our Easton location! The Systems Specialist will support existing IS systems with implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the following technologies: IT Hardware (PC's, Handhelds and Printers), Microsoft, Apple, VoIP, Backups, Server, Networking, and Security. This role will work closely with other team members both internal and external to the organization and must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team setting. Essential Job Duties Assists with the daily administration of a server environment. Monitors Company system performance and performs testing to provide a diagnosis of issues and to assist with the deployment of solutions. Installs upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment. Point of contact for server, hardware, and software support via phone or email. Helps and troubleshoots, and/or repairs enterprise end user systems to include various software packages, printers, scanning devices, mobile devices, and various other IT features. Builds, upgrades, or configures new and used PC and server hardware and software. Maintains detailed troubleshooting and customer interaction logs provided in internal tracking tools. Performs vendor support for clients regarding matters requiring Microsoft, Dell, Apple support. Assists with the creation and updating of internal IT policies. Responsible for identity and access management. (Active Directory, AzureAD) Assists in disaster recovery implementations, testing scenarios, and operations. Participates in team meetings and provides input on intelligent solutions to improve efficiency. Understands business requirements to support projects and implementations. Helps create documentation and workflows. Identifies weaknesses in existing processes and applications. Helps research potential opportunities. Manages multiple tasks and communicates progress at regular intervals. Keeps abreast of current standards and trends in IT and emerging technology.
