$45/hr Overview We are seeking an Engineering Systems & Tools Specialist to support the systems, databases, and engineering tools used for capital planning and project execution across a global organization. This role will initially focus on EcoSys, capital project reporting tools, Power BI, SharePoint, Excel, and 2D/3D CAD systems. The Engineering Systems & Tools Specialist will provide user support and troubleshooting, maintain and improve system data, assist with training, support reporting and dashboards, and identify opportunities to improve and automate existing processes. This position will work closely with Engineering, Project Controls, IT, Procurement, and other capital project stakeholders. Responsibilities Provide ongoing support for EcoSys, including troubleshooting, user training, data uploads, and data quality assurance. Upload and maintain SAP and currency exchange data within EcoSys. Evaluate and complete quarterly SOX compliance reporting related to EcoSys user data. Identify and implement improvements to engineering systems, software, and related business processes. Serve as backup support for Capital Data Coordinators and assist users with system-related questions and issues. Maintain and enhance the organization's Project Metrics Database utilizing Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI. Work with Engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely project data entry and reporting. Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and support data transfers used for Power BI reporting. Improve system consistency, usability, automation, and reporting capabilities, including the development of new project metrics. Maintain and improve capital efficiency Power BI dashboards. Perform quality assurance activities for Capital Center of Excellence SharePoint sites. Evaluate software and system license utilization to support contract renewals. Provide troubleshooting and technical support to 2D/3D CAD users globally. Collaborate with Engineering, Project Controls, IT, Procurement, and other stakeholders to translate user needs into practical system solutions. Support additional engineering systems and tools initiatives as needed. Qualifications 5+ years of experience supporting engineering systems and tools, such as: 2D/3D CAD systems EcoSys or similar database/project controls systems Microsoft Excel SharePoint Power BI Experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving CAD and database software systems. Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and active listening skills with the ability to understand user needs and translate them into actionable solutions. Ability to work effectively across engineering, project controls, IT, and other functional teams. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to accomplish objectives through collaboration and influence. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience working with capital project teams and engineering disciplines. Associate degree in an Engineering-related field or previous experience as an Engineering Designer. Familiarity with SAP and/or capital project processes. Why Join On-Board Engineering?
