Job Description Saint Luke's in Kansas City is hiring a remote Building Automation Specialist! This position provides oversight and technical support of BJC's building automation system that controls the physical plants at each HSO. In addition to maintaining the automation system, the Remote Systems Specialist performs the most complex network and hardware troubleshooting, repairs and performs all aspects of programing. Accountable for all aspects of maintenance and upgrades on the system hardware. Performs complex network and hardware trouble shooting with minimal supervision. Works directly with contractors to add newly constructed spaces and their associated field devices to the network while ensuring appropriate programing and naming conventions are implemented successfully. Creates and implements flow diagrams, sequences of operations, network layouts and electrical schematics for the system's architecture. Monitors, troubleshoots, and addresses alarms generated by the Open Blue Energy Manager software overlay to the building automation system. 2-5 years of experience required.
