The role focuses on administering and supporting Red Hat Linux systems, VMware, SAN/NAS storage solutions, OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms, backup and recovery processes, and overall system performance optimization. Responsibilities include maintaining critical infrastructure, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and supporting modernization initiatives across the environment. The position requires a hands-on technical professional who can serve as a key resource for Linux and storage operations. This is a hybrid role , however, candidates should expect to be onsite five days per week during the first six months for training, onboarding, and knowledge transfer. After that initial period, the role transitions to a hybrid (3 days on-site + 2 days remote) work schedule. This is a strong opportunity to work with enterprise-level technologies in a highly available, mission-critical environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tallahassee, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
