Organizational Systems Specialist VISTA - Year 1 AmeriCorps - 4.3 Dallas, TX Job Details Full-time 5 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Qualifications Research Full Job Description This project will help disrupt poverty by developing and strengthening systems, tools, and processes that improve organizational effectiveness. This project will help Beacon Hill by creating lasting organizational capacity through documented processes, improved workflows, enhanced information systems, and organizational infrastructure that strengthens long-term sustainability, increasing the organization's capacity to achieve its mission of empowering children, families, and communities through education and support services. The community capacity-building work will help Beacon Hill Preparatory Institute in its mission of helping students navigate learning so they believe "I can" today and lead tomorrow. Beacon Hill Preparatory Institute provides tutoring to students in grades PK4 - 12th through a structured, supplemental, and focused learning environment.
Member Duties :
The VISTA volunteer will assess the existing organizational infrastructure and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and establish standardized practices for organizational information. The activities include researching and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, accountability, and sustainability. Collaborating with staff to discuss changes and seek approval. Developing and documenting the procedures, workflows, templates, and organizational resources needed to implement systems or changes. The VISTA volunteer will also assess organizational coordination and leadership systems to establish processes that improve coordination of strategic priorities, partnerships, resource development, and mission advancement. These activities include assessing the existing systems for organizational priority tracking, project coordination, and accountability.
