Monterey Mushrooms is seeking a Google & Systems Administrator to manage our Google Workspace and Microsoft Office 365 environments and support the core business systems our teams rely on every day. This is a hands-on, generalist IT role: you'll administer user accounts and licensing across Google Workspace and Office 365, design and maintain our internal MMI Apps, and provide troubleshooting, technical support, and training to employees company-wide. Experience with Google AppSheet and AI tools is nice to have. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys a mix of systems administration, application development, and hands-on user support. What do we expect? Google Workspace & Office 365 Administration Serve as the administrator for both Google Workspace and Microsoft Office 365, our core communication and productivity suites. Manage the full user lifecycle across both platforms, including onboarding, offboarding, and data archiving. Resolve technical issues users encounter within Google Workspace and Office 365 applications. Administer Google Workspace users, groups, and organizational units, including provisioning/deprovisioning and access management. Manage Google Drive administration, including shared drive structure, sharing permissions, and storage oversight. Manage Company Intranet in Google Sites - Adding documents, updating information, etc. Support staff with Google Sheets and Google Forms — building, troubleshooting, and improving templates and processes used across departments. Conduct quarterly audits of Google Workspace and Office 365 accounts to ensure licensing costs are accurate. Apply new solutions through research and collaboration with the team and determine the course of action for new application initiatives. Implement new software solutions as required by the business. Customizing the user's environment to best serve their goals (integrated meetings, google drive) Quickly respond to incidents and requests within a ticketing system, providing resolution in a complex- fast-paced environment.MMI Apps:
Development & Administration Design and develop new MMI Apps, managing structural updates and workflow logic to ensure they evolve with the company's needs. Design and maintain current Apps on AppSheet. Manage user permissions across all MMI Apps to ensure data security. Troubleshooting & User Support Manage the technical investigation of user-reported errors, identifying root causes and implementing long-term fixes. Provide computer and user support as needed and assist employees with technical questions. Administer the company's support ticketing system, including intake, routing, tracking on open issues. Other duties as assigned. Collaborate with IS team on major projects. Legacy Systems Master Data Management Support administration of legacy systems still in use across the company, including basic maintenance, access management, and troubleshooting. Monitoring daily EDI transactions, investigating and fixing errors, testing new partner integrations. Assist with documentation and knowledge transfer for legacy tools as systems are maintained or eventually modernized. What are we are looking for? 2+ years of experience administering Google Workspace, including users, groups, Sites, Drive, and permissions; Google Workspace Administrator certification preferred. Proficiency with Google Sheets and Forms and experience administering Microsoft Office 365. Strong knowledge of email systems and security, including spam, phishing, and malware protection. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience providing end-user technical support. Strong communication and customer service skills, including experience with end-user training and onboarding. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with internal and external teams. Experience with AppSheet or similar no-code/low-code platforms, legacy business systems, and AI-assisted workflows is a plus. Working knowledge of HTTP, HTML, XML, and Google App Engine preferred.Benefits
