TSSCI System Administrator
Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a System Administrator to support a large federal customer of ours in Chantilly, VA. This role will be on site 5 days a week. They will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and testing physical access control, CCTV, PSIM and other electronic security systems and support implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology systems in support of the endpoint devices.

Responsibilities:
Administer and support physical security systems and related infrastructure. Install, configure, and maintain Lenel access control systems, including controllers, panels, badge readers, and associated hardware. Program and troubleshoot Lenel 1320 and 3300 controllers, ensuring proper communication between boards, readers, and peripheral devices. Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and system security. Ensure all systems and processes comply with NIST standards and security requirements for both classified and unclassified environments. Perform server builds, workstation imaging, software installations, and patch management. Perform system upgrades, testing, and maintenance to ensure reliable operation of physical security systems. Apply STIGs, perform IAVA updates, and maintain IA/security compliance requirements. Support and troubleshoot VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix XenDesktop (VDI) environments. Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases. Manage storage solutions such as Dell EqualLogic and Dell PowerVault. Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and perform root cause analysis. Implement backup, disaster recovery, and preventive maintenance processes. Develop technical documentation, SOPs, and system implementation plans. Train users and provide Tier III/Tier IV support for escalated issues. Research emerging technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements. Skills and Requirements Active TSSCI Sec Bachelor's Degree and 5+ Years of progressive experience or Associates Degree and 8+ Years of progressive experience or HS Diploma or Equivalent and 10+ Years of progressive experience Hands-on, current experience with Lenel systems, including both hardware and software/programming. Ability to configure boards and establish communication with badge readers and other field devices. Experience adding and programming badge readers. Ability to configure access levels such as card-only and card-and-PIN authentication. Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Lenel access control equipment. Requires system administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving the system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, implementing new workstations, and system extensions. Demonstrated understanding of Windows patching and vulnerability remediation. Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Windows active directory hierarchy and implementation. Basic knowledge of large-scale networking, VLANS and routing. Requires reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer. Working knowledge of NIST standards and requirements. Understanding of classified and unclassified environments, including what technologies and procedures are permitted in each.Benefits
